If I was one of the so-called Common insects, I think I might protest for a name change: call me the Abundant Photog, the Fecund Babbler, or maybe even the Proactively Procreative Typer. Maybe that’s a stretch…like an inchworm taking one step forward! As for our featured bug, this common looper caterpillar was quite striking when I found it in the autumn munching on remnants of a leafy garden plant.
