This damselfly has a wicked stare when its head is pointing down.

There is a certain acute angle that I find works well for getting as much of a damselfly face into focus as possible in one shot. It also has the affect of creating a sinister look — much in contrast to some of the more cartoonish or friendly looking faces an obtuse angle seems to produce. Beautiful one face or another, however.
