A flower crab spider lies in wait for prey.

But only if you are a Misumena vatia, a goldenrod crab spider. Or an actual crab.

And so ends my unofficial Flickr spider week (sometimes these things just happen). I hope everyone out there is decompressing, as I type, for an enjoyable weekend. And appreciates the eight-legged wonders just a little bit more.
