The impotence of floating on voiced but speechless, as in a nightmare, belies a smoldering urgency. I have nothing to say and it must be said. It is a self-immolating madness, like a clock face, killing time itself. I have nothing to say in such a loud voice, but the words dissipate over my head before I can part my lips.
