The Phidippus audax are back; one has made a home in a window, and at least a few others are roaming the brick and back deck. They seem to come in with as spring warms up, fade in summer and then make a resurgence in fall.
This shot I had in the proverbial back pocket or my “on deck” folder. Not my favorite for some technical shortcomings/post-processing decisions, but in a rush today. And how can you not love a little Phid?
Jumping spiders are very aware, and conscious of their environment… unlike some people I know! ;)
Great shot! :)
Thanks! And that is a keen observation. :D
