This ant is cleaning house!

Cleaning out the ant files! In the last post I had some Florida ants exiting their nest, and here I have some good old hometown ants doing the same, while doing a little house-cleaning themselves. You can see they are on the edge of asphalt (which is part of a parking lot). I just about got the eye into focus. This shot is uncropped; I really wanted to crop it, but I liked the asphalt in the lower right corner and leaving that intact, I didn’t like how the ant lined up. I possibly could have done a free crop and cut of only the left side, just past the in-focus white pebbles. Something to keep in mind.
