So begins the experiment in daily posting. I’ve been pretty good about posting 5 days a week or so (recent weeks notwithstanding), but the winter needs even more bugs if we (read: me) are to overwinter successfully. Less words probably on average, but more photos. Hopefully, I don’t goose-egg it tomorrow.

In the meanwhile, I’m standing on the long legs of this dolichopodid.
