The curious gaze of a female jumping spider.
Speaking of gravid females (like yesterday’s leaf beetle), you may have caught this very fertile jumping spider’s lovely abdomen not too long ago, in what I suppose is literally a throwback Thursday (if you click the link). I think I’ll have to be typical and prefer the front end; you just can’t beat the green glint in those shiny eyes.
