Six-spotted Orbweaver Spider

A male six-spotted orbweaver spider (Araniella sp.)

Only two of the six spots are really visible, but this is the guy. And “guy” is more appropriate as this is a male: unlike their female counterparts, the cephalothorax (the head/upper body where the legs attach) is more prominent than the abdomen (the more colorful back end). The enlarged pedipalps also indicate a male and help facilitate sex. (Spider sex is kind of strange.)
