Wariness (Ambush Bug, Phymata sp.)

Phymata ambush bugs on queen anne's lace

A wary ambush bug (Phymata sp.) looks past another toward the camera.

Was the bug wary of my camera or the other ambush bug (blurred in the foreground)? Or maybe it was how I was going to treat this photo, especially with regards to sharpening? It’s a key part of the post processing, and like many, in large part a matter of taste. Lately, I haven’t been sharpening much if at all, but for this one — a somewhat softer image to begin with — I decided it’d be better to go over the line than under it.
