A caterpillar (family Geometridae) feeds on a black-eyed Susan. (Black and white version.)

I guess it was empty-calorie serendipity that led me to find this photo and post it (later than usual) today. It’s all about the “back” for me. Caterpillar has neat arrows, I’ve got injured muscles. Everything is related, you see. Let the backing continue… (Color version after the break.)
