Up Close with a blue dasher dragonfly (Pachydiplax longipennis).

You can’t beat the eyes on these male blue dashers; the females are beautiful in their own right, but not the same electric bluish-green. Kinda rushed the post-processing on this one…I guess I’ll let others tell me what is lacking (I have a couple ideas though!). Black and white isn’t as captivating, but I made one anyway (after the break).
