In the Same Vein

Brightly veined fallen leaf on ground amidst brown and decaying leaves and some roots. (black and white version)
A fallen, brightly-veined red leaf amongst the brown leaf litter. (Black and white version.)

Leaves coming and going and already gone. I’m not sure if I like the color or black and white better. (Color version below.)

  1. Oh, it’s got to be color if you’re doing fall leaves. I mean how can you label a black & white photo: “A fallen, brightly-veined red leaf amongst the brown leaf litter”? :)

    1. Well, as a matter of convenience it’s very easy to copy and paste. :)

      I guess though I was looking at it as the caption was describing the subject more than the image, which I can see how someone might object. “Black and white version” is doing double duty as a disclaimer, so to speak.
