Oh, it’s got to be color if you’re doing fall leaves. I mean how can you label a black & white photo: “A fallen, brightly-veined red leaf amongst the brown leaf litter”? :)
Well, as a matter of convenience it’s very easy to copy and paste. :)
I guess though I was looking at it as the caption was describing the subject more than the image, which I can see how someone might object. “Black and white version” is doing double duty as a disclaimer, so to speak.
