
Usually, these small jumping spiders are some of the first arthropods I see in the spring. They like to prowl the crevices and micro-canyons of the brick of my house for prey. These shots (additional photo below) are older ones, I haven’t really photographed much in the past couple years, especially on the bug side. But, as they say, it’s never too late to start, or in my case to begin again. (Well, it is technically too late this year, but you know what I mean, right?)

Thanks, David. These little critters are really good at fitting in the nooks and crannies of the brick. It’s a whole other world on the side of the house.
