On the Tip of My… (Jumping Spider, Salticidae

A jumping spider on the tip of my finger. In Sturbridge, Massachusetts

…finger. While visiting friends I was able to enjoy the ubiquitous presence of insects and spiders that lends itself to life on the water’s edge. These photos were taken a while ago, so I’m not sure how much finagling I had to do to keep the spider in position to photograph. No macro lens for this one either, as the “little” spider is still little, as you can see. (Two more photos below.)
