Warm Yellow Bath (Bee, Apidae?)

Couldn’t we all use a nice warm bath? Yellow or not, this bee was living large and digging in. I think it’s in family Apidae, but I haven’t done the legwork, so consider it a suggestion. (Black and white version below.)
