The Beauty of Height (Kentucky Bluegrass, Poa pratensis)

Simple things make it better. Like putting off mowing the lawn, which allows the grass to grow tall enough to be beautiful.

I’m way out of my depth, but I’m going out on a limb (or is it a plank?), and am fairly positive this is Kentucky Bluegrass. Corrections welcome. On another note, I didn’t realize there was a critter (lower left) in there until post-processing. (Maybe an aphid? Black and white version below.)
