So I posted one shot of this little child of nature a while back, because I liked the head on angle and thought it stood out well on its own. These two shots (see below) give more of a complete profile.

Housekeeping (or is it beekeeping?) note: In the previous post, I had presupposed that it was a miner or mason bee, but after getting back into the swing of writing posts and making a few BugGuide.net searches to tune up my identification skills, I think I blew that ID.
