Red Red (Flesh Fly, Sarcophagidae)

Well, I found another well-focused shot…. All I can say is, I’m glad I (relatively) recently got a different pair of glasses. Also, I started to look at the flesh fly (Sarcophagidae) pages on BugGuide.net, and I didn’t even bother  to really look beyond subfamily (which was a short trip, as it were, metaphorically speaking). It’s okay, “flesh fly” is cool (and creepy) enough to carry more than one genus or species.
