Eyeful (Pickerel frog, Lithobates palustris?)

Eye of the Frog. (Might be a Pickerel frog (Lithobates palustris)?)

I usually don’t venture into the realm of vertebrates, but little frogs are one of the things my reverse lens likes (i.e. are small enough to fit into it coherently). You can tell this photo is old from the reflection of the DIY plastic lid flash diffuser in the eye. Not a bad diffuser, but it could produce some harsh glare spots (some of which were edited out of our nice frog here).
