Little Spirit (Jumping Spider, Sitticus pubescens)

big eyes of a small jumping spider nestled in the crevice of a brick
Another Sitticus pubescens on the brick.

The comforts of (my) home, a.k.a. the spiders on the brick walls. Always welcomed, forever fascinating.

  1. Excellent shot. I really like the angle and composition. While some might want more depth field I think this is perfect as it helps frame the important parts of the subject.

    1. Thanks, David. It’s always tricky when you get that close and when the subject has a mind of its own. These little spiders are pretty cooperative as far as the jumping spiders I’ve encountered, though.
