This image is one of my favorite captures of a jumping spider. Now, I have posted it before, but not this version. Something always bothered me about the previous version, and it was the blown out hairs below the large front-facing eyes. I have become a little more savvy and produced, let’s say, a more well-coiffed subject with my usual photo-editing programs. It probably was something I should have been able to do the first time without much trouble, but I make progress a little slower than I’d like sometimes. Still, I’m happier with the new result. (For comparison sake, I’ve included the first version below.)
